Record

An ongoing archive of handmade experiments and small-scale manual practices. A record closer to process than completion, tracing material studies shaped through touch. Paper, clay, ink, fabric, and metal are tested with intent as a condition, documenting the behind-the-scenes processes of making  and transformation.

손으로 만들어가는 실험과 소규모 수작업 실천의 지속적인 기록이자 다듬어지지 않은 실험 보고서. 종이, 흙, 잉크, 직물, 금속 등 다양한 재료 연구의 흔적들. 완성보다 과정에 가까운 기록으로, 어떤 결과물을 만들어가는지 그 비하인드와 제작과정에 대한 이야기, 그 과정을 기록한다.

Blank space is understood not as absence but as the density of emotions deliberately left behind, using paper as both material and metaphor to record time and space through writing, drawing, and archiving. While the process often resolves into books, it expands into space, objects, installations, and moving images, continuing as a series of sensory experiments.

여백은 결핍이 아닌 남겨둔 감정의 밀도로 인식하며, 종이를 재료이자 은유로 삼아, 글, 그림, 아카이빙을 통해 시간과 공간을 기록합니다. 작업의 과정이 책이라는 형식으로 귀결되는 구조를 추구하는 동시에 공간, 오브제, 설치, 영상 등으로 확장하며 다양한 감각의 실험을 지속합니다.
