Architecture of life건축을 넘어 삶을 바라보는 태도를 뜻하는 이 전시는 저의 이름을 넘어 ‘시작’을 꺼내보는 자리로, 패치워크와 함께합니다. 도시와 일상, 건축과 그림 사이에서 쌓아온 시선을 정리하며, 건축적 사고와 기억을 담은 그림과 기록을 겹겹이 담았습니다. 구조와 틈, 겹겹의 경험 속에서 제가 경유해온 도시의 풍경을 풀어냅니다.
Architecture of life는 단순히 건축을 의미하지 않습니다. 건축을 통해 삶을 바라보는 방식을 배웠고, 그것은 도시와 일상, 사람과 관계, 기억과 공간을 연결하는 태도로 확장되었습니다. 삶은 구조이자 틀이면서 동시에 끊임없이 재구성되는 과정이라 믿습니다.
This exhibition, organized with Patchwork, brings forth my ‘beginnings’ beyond my name. It reflects my perspective formed between city and everyday life, architecture and drawing, unfolding layered works of thought, memory, and record. 《𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘》 signifies not just architecture, but a way of seeing life. Through structures, gaps, and layered experiences, I present the urban landscapes and memories I have passed through, inviting you into a space where my beginnings and present intersect.

Based on two cities I've lived in, this project weaves together various scenes and stories of urban life. Born in Busan and now living in Seoul, the way I view the city—and the experiences I've had within it—have played a significant role in shaping who I am today.
I've recorded personal moments and reflections that occurred in each city, capturing both the ordinary and the extraordinary, the everyday and the journey.
Even within the same city, the way we see it can differ so greatly from one person to another. Through this record, I try to remember the faces and changes of the city. And in doing so, I believe we can find ourselves—growing, living, becoming—in the heart of it all.
I hope this becomes a ticket—a beginning, or a direction—that can lead you anywhere.
